1977 Mercedes 450 SLC

Currently located in London, UK. Benny bought this 1977 Mercedes 450 SLC in 2017 and has transformed it into a unique ride. The 225hp delivered today is insufficient for Benny, who expects 300hp or more after the electric conversion with a 100mph top speed.
He needs a turn-key conversion as he is not interested in physically participating in the process.
The closer the builder, the better, but he will consider shipping cross-country to the right builder.
Currently located in London, UK. Benny bought this 1977 Mercedes 450 SLC in 2017 and has transformed it into a unique ride. Showing 127,000km (79,000 miles), this coupe is in excellent condition and shows no rust. It has undergone many upgrades and restorations such as the fully adjustable sportline suspensions from the Sl shop - set to be comfortable enough but can be lowered and stiffened. It is equipped with squat bars and ends- custom made (front and back), custom 3sdm three-piece wheels and 12-inch rear tires to manage the torque the car can put out. An upgraded torque converter by Mike Dukbus- delivers 20% quicker power compared to the stock torque converter. This car also sports custom fabricated Brembo racing brakes(4 pods) with larger rotors.
The interior and exterior are pristine, with a hand-finished nap leather interior. The exterior currently sports a custom deep purple wrap, although Benny is considering a full paint job. The SLC is also equipped with power steering and AC.
The Mercedes' curb weight is unknown, but the 225hp delivered today is insufficient for Benny, who expects 300hp or more after the electric conversion with a 100mph top speed. Benny has no preference for the motor or battery and wants to use as many used parts as possible. He is open to suggestions from the converters.
As the primary driver, Benny will mainly drive in town. His range expectation is between 210 and 230 miles, and he will charge at home in 4 to 7 hours.
For the dashboard, Benny wants the tachometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure to be removed and replaced by EV gauges.
He needs a turn-key conversion as he is not interested in physically participating in the process. The closer the builder, the better, but he will consider shipping cross-country to the right builder.
The resale of ICE-related parts is open for discussion between him and the converter.
There are no towing requirements.
