1995 Land Rover Range Rover 2.0 SE
Proposals received : 3
This 95 Range Rover is Kurt’s dream car. It is powered by a 4.2L V8 (203 hp) coupled with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Kurt will not be involved with the EV conversion and is willing to ship the car, preferably to California and neighboring states. He is flexible with his goals but wants the car to be versatile and a bit more powerful than today, between 200 and 250hp. He expects a top speed of 90 MPH and wants to retain the 4X4 capabilities.
This 95 Range Rover is Kurt’s dream car. It is powered by a 4.2L V8 (203 hp) coupled with a 4-speed automatic transmission. It was bought at an auction in 2000 and has had three different engines and springs added since. The four-wheel drive weighs 4,630 lbs. and is located in Oakland, CA.
It is equipped with AC, power steering, heated seats, sunroof and airbags. However, its condition is far from perfect, with some rust on the driver's side door and a painted patina. It runs and can be easily put on a trailer. If possible, along with the conversion, Kurt would like the converter to repaint the car and replace the headliner, front grill cover, carpets, seat covers, and sunroof. He has no deadline.
Kurt will not be involved with the EV conversion and is willing to ship the car, preferably to California and neighboring states. He is flexible with his goals but wants the car to be versatile and a bit more powerful than today, between 200 and 250hp. He would like the OEM equivalent of EV horsepower and torque with a range of 140 miles, so he can visit his daughter, who lives 60 miles away. He expects a top speed of 90 MPH and wants to retain the 4X4 capabilities. He is open to suggestions for the EV gauges but prefers a touchscreen display. He will consider fast charging as an option.
Besides the motor which can be resold (TBD with the converter) all removed OEM parts will most likely be scrapped.
Kurt may require occasional towing.
