Imported from Madrid, Spain, in 2023 after a complete body-off restoration, this Defender 90 is a truly special build. It is in good condition, rust-free, and ready for its next chapter—electrification.
The vision is clear: retain the Defender’s legendary off-road capability and rugged charm while delivering a modern, electric driving experience. The expectations are for performance equivalent to the current diesel engine, with a top speed around 90 mph and a driving range of 200 miles or more. Andy is open to additional improvements and modifications if recommended.
Imported from Madrid, Spain, in 2023 after a complete body-off restoration, this Defender 90 is a truly special build. Now located in The Woodlands, Texas, it carries just 2,800 miles on the odometer since its restoration and is already upgraded with a custom Puma dashboard, custom upholstery, and an aftermarket A/C system.
Under the hood today sits a 300 Tdi turbo diesel, paired with a manual 5-speed transmission and four-wheel drive. The truck is in good condition, rust-free, and ready for its next chapter—electrification.
Andy, the owner, is no stranger to EVs, already driving a 2021 Tesla Model Y and charging at home with a Level 2 station. The Defender’s future role will be as a daily driver, with most charging done at home.

The project will require premium, turn-key conversion services. With no deadline set, the priority is getting the right conversion done the right way.

For the right builder, this Defender 90 is a dream canvas: a freshly restored classic ready to be reimagined as a powerful, go-anywhere electric vehicle without compromising its rugged Land Rover soul.
