According to its owner, this rear-wheel drive (RWD) is in excellent condition. It was recently refurbished and repainted, and the suspension was renewed throughout.
Scott bought the vehicle in 1999. Since then, it has been used as a low-speed guided tour vehicle, covering about 5 miles per day at a near walking pace. The truck doesn't need to be street-legal.
After EV conversion, Scott expects the vehicle to reach a top speed of 10 mph and a range of 30 miles maximum. It will charge at night. He has no preference for motor and battery and is open to using used EV parts if under warranty.
The vehicle's equipment is very basic, but Scott expects the converter to equip the truck with power steering. AC is not required. The Battery Management System display should be sufficient, and no other gauges/displays seem necessary.
Scott needs a turn-key conversion as he is not interested in physically participating in the process. The closer the builder, the better, but he will consider shipping to neighboring states.
Finally, in addition to EV conversion, Scott would be interested in other improvements that may be deemed necessary, such as other functional/cosmetic equipment.
