J1772 Active Vehicle Control Module AVC2.r
This control module handles the pilot and proximity signals. This is required to use public J1772 Level 1 and Level 2 charging stations. Additionally, the module has a NO and NC relay which can be used to cut power to the driving system while charging. This can prevent you from driving away while the charging plug is still connected. There are 8 connections and the module is powered by the vehicle's 12-volt system, the current draw is always under 20ma.
The AVC2.r already has a 2.74k Ohm resistor between the proximity and ground built-in. If your system already has this resistor between proximity and ground you will need the AVC2
