Motor System
This kit is based on an electric motor system able to provide up to 450kW (~600HP) at 400V with 1500A. Power output may vary based on battery configuration.
Our divorced motor kit is based on a Tesla Model S performance motor, transaxle and inverter. These core items have been highly modified from their original orientation. They have been inspected, rebuilt and tested to ensure proper operation. All seals and bearings are also replaced during the remanufacturing process. We have engineered a system that utilizes these core components in a front wheel drive setup that mate to the hubs currently on the vehicle.
Control System
We utilize the “EV-Controls” and/or AEMEV systems as a MCU (motor control units). We will also provide a wiring harness for all drivetrain components, BMS, drive engagement control, charger, and a throttle pedal.
Fabrication and Electronics Installation
We can facilitate a third party to do the heavy fabrication for the motor installation. Any additional fabrication for mounting of electric systems will also be done by a combination of Revolt Systems and outside vendors. The shop rate is $200.00 per hour and will be billed as “Fabrication Time”. Electronics installation can be done by Revolt Systems at a shop rate of $200.00 per Hour. The accurate amount of time needed for fabrication and installation is unknown at this time and this is an additional service.
Warranty
Our Motor system is guaranteed to be free of defects for one year from delivery date. If any parts need to be replaced due to neglect or improper use, we can accommodate a replacement of just those components for the market value at that time. If any repairs are needed, the complete original system must be shipped back to our facility for repairs. We will not warranty any items that have been tampered with, opened, or modified by a third unauthorized party. Batteries are covered for six months from purchase.
Payments
A 50% deposit of the parts quote is required for Revolt Systems to begin work. A final invoice for your components, including the fee for shipping/crating, will be included when the system is fully assembled and tested. Each motor is built to order and a 90-day lead time from time of deposit is needed for parts and materials.
