At this crucial stage, Steven needs a battery pack that can meet his demanding requirements. This includes a cooling system, fast charging capabilities, and all the necessary components for a near plug-and-play installation. The battery pack must be able to deliver between 275 and 400 Volts and up to 1800 Amps. “The goal is higher amp/hr discharge over kWh with a weight goal of under 800 lbs for the battery packs. "
Steven is a DIYer. He started his “E-xocet” project last year by custom-building the chassis and suspension in his garage. His objective is to break some records at the Atlanta Motorsports Park.
He made a significant addition to his project by purchasing and installing the Tesla Dual Motor All Wheel Drive Kit - EV Controls T2-C Controller from EVWest. It includes the rear performance Tesla motor, inverter, gearbox, front drive motor, and control unit (EV Controls), throttle pedal, throttle pedal plug and pins, brake switch, brake switch plug and pins, encoder plug and pins, inverter plug and pins, axle clips, 2 axles, pre-charge relay, and pre-charge resistor.
With up to 640kW of power and a curb weight of 1200 lbs. (without batteries), the E-xocet has an impressive power-to-weight ratio. Steering and stopping: Steven installed a Miata steering column, custom QA1 coil-over suspension, and brand-new disc brakes at the front and rear.

He expects a top speed of over 130 mph and only 100 miles of range. Steven values charging, and fast charging would be ideal.
